EYES IN THE FOREST

EYES IN THE FOREST

Sun rays radiate scarcely through the tree tops
touching the dangling lianas
illuminating some low plants

Soft rustle of moving animals, screeches of parrots
birds communicating via their songs
big colored butterflies whirl around

Big brown eyes watch the visitor showing up
the stranger who dares to enter their forest
brown eyes see their world getting smaller and smaller

Big shining eyes are showing up with loud roar
shoveiling the old high trees away
separate the parent monkeys of their children

Big eyes of fear - screaming out their anxious feeling
the forest is set in fire
wounded monkeys rescued treated by soft eyed men

Monkeys caught to be sold
caught to be used for experiments
caught to be shown in zoos

One sound roles over the forest PALM OIL
PALM OIL to make the rich people richer
stealing monkeys forest their only habitat to live

Stop these robbing moneymakers
protect the forest our most precious lungs
when there is no nature there are no animals and no humans

Help the monkeys in need
don't buy palm oil
make the forest and their inhabitants survive
